I put them up last year, and yes I will put them up this year. I’m doing the quests right now, so give me some time to finish them up for myself, then I will gladly lend anyone a hand that needs it. If you’d like, you’re more than welcome to hunt with me.  It seems some places are repeats and others are new. So I’m not quite sure how many changes have been made just yet.  All I ask for is a little patience.  Please and thank you!

Halloween ghosts! (Batch 1)

I’m about to blow off some serious dust. Sorry guys I have not had time to work the blog lately, things have been…we’ll just say hectic and spare the details.

Ghosts! As most of you know, SSO has some new Halloween type quests available, you find and converse with little ghosts to send them home. They in turn give you prizes. I will not tell you what. But I will tell you there is a great number of them. I’m not even done finding them all.

My tip is to listen for the little jingle that they make, if you hear it, stop and look around. If you stay in the area, you will find it eventually. They have a path they follow so they’ll eventually be near the area you saw them last. (or heard them in.)  The do slow down if you get near them, but not for long.

 

Note: I am not done. These are just the pics I have at this moment I know for a fact there are many more. I’ll have them up in batches.

Easter Egg Hunt Help!

Yes, I did finish all of them. And yes, I did take pictures of the majority of the egg locations!*  Don’t worry, if you enjoy doing it yourself, the pictures aren’t up front and center, so you can just read the information if you like and avoid the pictures completely.  😀

— Note: I started putting this together late in the evening. It’s now 1:30 in the morning for me. There’s 11 hunts total, and about 43 ish pictures.  If the hunt you want isn’t up yet…check back in a few hours. It will be up soon! I just need to sleep first.

*Landon's eggs are all out in the open.
So it felt redundant to take screen shots of that
particular hunt.

Golden Hill Valley!

Oh boy! Right now the “newness” is still there for me. The colors can get a little obnoxious when you’ve been at the computer for too long, otherwise…it’s somewhere new to be for a change.  You’ll find Jasper at is pumpkin farm, and he’ll have a few things for you to do. Nothing too hard.  You’ll collect ghost dust for his pumpkins, fix his sprinklers and check the jumps of his course.  Not bad at all for the pay.

Most of the ghost dust can be found along the old course. Though I did find a smidge in the feild across from his house.

You’ll also be cutting down the dead trees in front of his house. Don’t worry, they’re easy to spot. Their the only trees that aren’t orange…or yellow.

The other things he’ll have you do aren’t half bad. I’m working on the wolf quests right now, and I’ll be posting those soon.  Golden Vally has some very picturesque places.

Why is the gate closed?

I said brace yourself…but I lied. I squealed and hopped in my seat when I saw this quest. I was beyond ready for some new content.

 

  • Why is the gate closed?

Go speak to the Mayor of SilverGlade. Try to hide your excitement.

He’ll send you to the castle to look at a painting of the Golden Hill Valley Mayor Klaus. Make sure to click on the painting.

Speak to the mare about your idea.

  • Qeustion of a camera

Go to Fort Pinta and ask James to borrow a Camera. I was waiting on some large quest but surprisingly he coughed it up!

  • Key photo

Go take a photo of the painting

  • Painted photo
  • Printed photo

For these all you have to do is take the camera to Derek. He’ll remark that it’s unique and then print it out for you.  Now it’s time to find someone who can make a key for you. We know who that is don’t we?

— Okay, confession time, there is either a “Wait until tomorrow” here or right after “Little apprentice”. I know. A little piece of me died when it happened.

Okay! so this isn’t too hard, you’ll be dragging objects from you’re inventory to the places that pop up on your screen. What I did to make it easier on my self is move all my stuff to the bottom of my inventory. So the only things I could grab would be the tools. It may seem like it drags on…but I promise it does finish up.

As you can see I was pretty far into level 12 before I was able to do this. ^.^

A hint about a threat/Techno the guard dog

When I saw this one pop up on my log…I was intregued. Guess who we get to talk to? Mr. Slime Ball himself!

He’ll hint about something happening to the ridding hall. When I rode down there this is what I found:

 

Graffiti. I keep hoping for a tragic dozer accident to happen to Mr. Slime Ball. Er…nah, we’ll stick with Slime Ball.

  • Done cleaning

Go speak to Tyra, she’ll ask you to clean it up. And yes, you can clean the spray paint from inside or outside. There’s paint cans in both arenas.

Speak to Tyra again, and wait till tomorrow.

 

  • A watch dog

She’s going to send you over to Landon to pick up Techno. He’s not much of herding dog, but he’s a good watch dog!

Take him back to Tyra.

  • Show Techno his new home

Okay, I can’t promise on the title of that quest, I’ll be honest…I don’t remember but it’s along those lines. Anywho. What your going to do is lead Techno to the ridding hall. For such a small dog, the little bugger can be quick. If he takes off don’t worry, he stops and waits for you.
