How much is that kitty in the window?

It’s Wednesday! And you know what that means don’t you? Updates! And we’ve got a new quest. Appearently all the animals have escaped from the pet shop and it’s our job to wrangle them back up.

Awwwww….

To start this quest you need to see the security guard standing in front of the disco.

Security

— Escaped animals

Talk to him to give you a run down of what’s going on. After that…lets get this show on the road.

• — Find the escaped puppies

Just like the quest suggests, the puppies are all found standing near vendors and James. All you need to do is take a nice slow lap around the square to find them all.

• — Find the escaped bunnies

They’re not too bad. I just made a big circle around Fort Pinta. A couple are in the stable yard two more are just hanging out in the bushes along the walls. however there is one you must out smart..

 

I couldn’t reach him on my horse. Nor could I actually grab him on foot. You have to go behind the planter and hop into it so you can grab the little bunny from behind.

• –Runaway Kittens

These cute little furballs were a little more challenging. But not too bad.

1. This kitten is hanging out on the banister inside the cafe. Sorry, I forgot to take a screen shot of him.

2.. This kitten was hanging out in the window of the fort turret. No. You can’t reach him on foot. I actually had to go back and grab NightRebel so I could reach him.

 

3. Self explanatory. A freakishly cute.

5. I guess he wanted some sun. My question is how did he get up there. 

Return to the bouncer and wait till the next day. ^.^  I’ll post up the next leg of the quest as soon as I can.

 

Past Dark Core’s Roadblock

Okay, now is anyone up for some espionage? Because that’s what these next few quests are all about!

 

Avalon 

—Past Dark Core’s Roadblock

Have a chat with him and see what he’s found. I’m assuming the people of Jorvik have a killer science program in their schools since so many characters have analyzed samples. -shrug- 

— What is Dark Core Doing in the Mountains?

I don’t know. I guess it’s time to go snooping around. 

Okay. So he has two quests for you today. I suggest accepting them both….they’re going to be sending you to the exact same place. Moorland’s south beach. I’ll confess I cheated and called for a pick up. Ride all the way there from Valedale? Ain’t nobody got time for that.

 

So dig through all the sparkly cases. There’s some on the beach, and some on the  the barge. I found  the case I needed on the barge.

 

Okay. A password. Look on the barge for a walkie! 

Really, who leaves this stuff just laying around?

Return to Avalon. He says since he’s old he can stay up all night and listen for the password. I snickered at this. Most elderly that I know sleep all the time. But eh, what can you do?  You have to wait till the next day to start the next phase. 

The Waterfall’s New Color

So I started to notice that the waterfall was suddenly green. Luck would have it this started the day before St. Patrick’s Day. I really thought this had something to do with it. Haha. No.

Elizabeth Sunbeam

— The Waterfall’s New Color

All you simply have to do is speak to Elizabeth. She’s going to send you across the bridge to speak to Avalon. I find it creepy that everyone knows your name long before you know theirs. -.- Druids.

Avalon

Avalon (no last name) of Valedale.

— Green isn’t Good

This quest only consists of talking with the hooded druid a couple times. He will then send you back over to Elizabeth. Speak to her once more to complete the quest..  Easy peasy lemon squeezey. But we know better than to get comfortable…right? Return to Avalon, speak to the man.

 

— Earlier Incidents 

Guess what this quest consists of? Running back to Elizabeth.  Talk to her again.

 

Elizabeth

— Always this “Dark Core”

She’ll explain the stories she’s heard. To be honest if my water was turning shamrock green…I’d move far, far away. After that she’ll send you back to Avalon. Apparently they think your horse needs the exercise.

 

Avalon

— A sample from the waterfall 

— Green water anywhere else?

I’m going to suggest select both of these quests at once. You’ll collect two samples, one from the waterfall right next to Avalon’s house, the other sample will be taken by the waterfall at Valedale lake. There’s a small trail right off of the race track.

Return to Avalon with the test tubes.

 

 

Then we…sit on our hands and wait until tomorrow. -.- Druids.

 

 

I also want to mention that these particular quests were put in game on 1/16/2013. I wasn’t able to access them until after I hit level 12.
