Easter Eggs 2014

I put them up last year, and yes I will put them up this year. I’m doing the quests right now, so give me some time to finish them up for myself, then I will gladly lend anyone a hand that needs it. If you’d like, you’re more than welcome to hunt with me.  It seems some places are repeats and others are new. So I’m not quite sure how many changes have been made just yet.  All I ask for is a little patience.  Please and thank you!

Finished Barrels. Marley, Marley, Marley.

I’m super hyped about the barrel racing arena. 😀 I’m ready for a change in pace.

Okay… here we go.

This is pretty short and straight forward so…not much on the visual aid.

Conrad

  • — Finished Barrels

Speak to Conrad. Take the barrels back to Marley.

Marley

  • — Build the course

Set the Barrels in the empty arena area.

Speak to Marley.

  • — My brother the inspector

Run to the Winery and speak to Carney. I don’t understand why he bristles every time his brother is involved. It’s not like he’s James or something. -shudder-

Wait until tomorrow.

No barrels for me. -.-

Marley Has an Idea. Uh, oh.

Marley

  •  — Marley’s New Idea

I’m actually excited about this one since I have yet to see anything other than racing, jumping or pole bending. Marely wants to make a Barrel Racing Arena. You need to pick up his rule book.

Derek

  • — Post with a plan

Pick up Marely’s rule book and take it too him.

Marley

  • — Barrels for the race

I really don’t like James, and if you don’t either, Marley is about to give you another reason for the list. He ordered barrels from James and hasn’t gotten them. It’s our job to find out what’s going on.

James

  • Fort Pinta Or Fir Grove?

Why that little jerk! It was his job to make sure that the barrls got to Marley, but it’s all “Oh well, you want them…go get them.” I’m hoping karma serves him a cold one…soon. Ever since the Mississippi Jones quest he’s just gotten more rotten.

Okay, so apperently the driver took the fir grove mountain passage.  The passage starts at the second light post in Fir grove. If you just follow the trail you’re going to find two of them in plain sight.

Brokenbarrel

However  one barrel is off of the trail. It’s not far from the beginning of the climb, As a matter of fact, from the right angle you can look down on the championship arena.

LastBrokenBarrel

You’ll find all three before reaching valedale lake.

Drop them off to Marley. I felt bad that his barrels were broken.

Wait until tomorrow

  • — Smiths new barrels

After talking to Marley, go see Conrad. I..uh…cheated and called for a pick up.

Conrad

  • — New wood for broken barrels

Conrad is a bit of perfectionist. But in a good way. I’m still so mad at James that I’m glad someone wants to make nice barrels for Marley.  You need to go to Valedale Lake. And find the odd tree out. (er. Only one of it’s kind)

oddtreeout

Seems a little obvious when you look at it like that doesn’t it?

You’ll find wood along the trail leading up to the oak. Wood around the oak, and there’s a lot of wood strung along the shore line near the oak’s rock base. I grabbed what I needed.  (There’s much more than what you need laying around) And I called for a pick up. Like normal.

  • — New Iron for the barrels

This is pretty simple. Go into the mine near the simthy and pluck out some iron. Bring it back.

Come back tomorrow.

NOTE: I don’t spend my star coins on “Spending the night” You can spend yours how you want but for me the price is just a little too steep for my taste. I’m just trying to keep the quest pieces together for you.

Is the hole gone?

G.E.D Trainee

  • The Hole in the Wall is Gone

Speak to the Trainee. Then Go speak to the Baroness.

The Baroness

  • What a Fantastic Cellar!

Speak to the Baroness some more.

Get a jacket!

Baronessjacket

When you’re done. Go talk to the trainee. Thankfully He’ll come to his senses.  ^.^ You’ll see what I mean.

We Need a Swimming Pool of Water. Wait…what?

G.E.D Trainee

  • We Need a Swimming Pool of Water

So we need to flood the cellar with water. Let’s go talk to Carney.

You’ll notice he has three quests. You can accept them all BUT there is an order to them this time. “Speed Pumping” must be done last. So Let’s  get on with this, shall we?

Carney

  • Stop the Watering System

This one took me a second. They don’t count out how many valves you need to shut off. They just let you know when you’re done. But for the record, there are three. One in each vine section in front of the manor. Look for the shiny dust and you’ll be okay!

  • Plug the Drainage

I’ve been hearing about the illusive drain for a while! It’s not half bad. It’s not what I was thinking. For some reason I was picturing a bathtub drain somewhere in the dirt. -.–  Don’t ask me why.

Here’s what you’re really looking for:

Drain

Coordinates for the drain!

x 121 Y 159

Again to get map coordinates, just hover your mouse over the map while in map view.

Before you go off to find it, grab some hay out of the stable.

I took the ride house path, jumped down to the empty arena/paddock, headed for the gray fence with the wire (Over looking the riding hall) and just kind of followed the fence around to the drain. Don’t worry about the walls in this area…you can go through them. Trust me.  It’s actually kind of fun. People didn’t believe me until they tried it themselves. Stuff the hay in the drain.

  • –Speed Pumping

We’ve all seen that noisy machine in the cellar. That’s the boiler. Once you’ve shut off the valves and plugged the drain, it’s time to do some button pushing. I just went down the line and hit the green buttons until conditions were filled.

Go see Carney.

  • Super Watering System

I’ve seen the red button behind Carney and have wondered what it was for. Now I know! Guess what you get to do…

Go back into the cellar and speak to the trainee when your done.

Then wait until tomorrow.
